The creator of Birmingham's first fashion magazine, belladonna, will be speaking on campus this week as part of the Cross Cultural Committee's continuing Black History Month programming. Macaah Davis was only 19 years old when she created the publication, which focuses on diversity in the world of high fashion.
Check out Davis's TEDxBirmingham Talk about conscious media consumption here and her website here. Also, be sure to attend her talk, which counts as a Lecture and Arts Event credit, on campus on Thursday, February 15th at 11 am in the Norton Theater.
